Try It Out (scenes)

I took on this scratch project like the penguin joke one. I used the same sprites. I never knew I could change the background that easy! I think this scratch project came out nice and neat . I will now change the background in my future scratch creations.

Final Project

For my final project, I will make a game where the goal is to cross the road without getting hit by a car. It sounds pretty harsh, but I think it will be fun. I will use cars and buses as sprites, as well as a person who will cross the road. You should try to get the person across the road as fast as you can. There will  be levels and they will increase in difficulty by adding more cars. When you win one level, you go onto the next. When you win the final level, the sprite will start dancing or spinning. I would like a view from above of a street for the background.

Nutrition Game

I like the way this came out. I took on this game by using the same concept as the fish chomper game. However in this one, you can lose points. My foods shake a little bit and i don't know why, but other than that I like this scratch project. This was challenging, but not too challenging that I couldn't figure it out. This has been my favorite one so far!

Alphabet Review

Taylor's Alphabet Game- I liked how Taylor used different letters than I did.She also didn't draw her letters like I did. Her costumes were all from scratch and I went onto google. However, it came out very nice.
Brianne's Alphabet Game- I liked how Brianne also used different letters than I did. It was also interesting how she made all of her letters stand for animals. Something that I did that she didn't, was make my sprites go back to their original letter costume after a couple seconds.

Fish Chomp Game

I was really proud of myself for figuring out how to keep the score on this scratch. After I figured out how to make one, I realized it was really easy. I also changed the appearance of the fish a little bit just to make it more of my own. I really liked this scratch and working with a game was fun.

Penguin Joke

I like this one because it was really easy and funny. It was cool to learn how to broadcast messages and how to make a conversation go back and forth on scratch. Lastly, I liked how this one didn't even take me a long time!
